Can I bring my children?
While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children who have been personally included in your invitation. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you!
Can I bring a plus-one?
Not all guests will have a plus-one included with their invitation. Please only RSVP for the guests specifically named on your invitation, or for the number of guests indicated. If a plus-one has been included, it will be reflected on your invitation.
We appreciate your understanding as we plan our celebration!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony and reception will be indoors. The Cathedral has fans rather than air conditioning, but our evening ceremony should be more comfortable. Our reception venue does have air conditioning.
What should I know about the weather in Cartagena?
Cartagena has a warm, tropical climate year-round. In April, temperatures typically range from around 25–31 °C (77–88 °F). We recommend wearing light, comfortable clothing, staying hydrated, and keeping the warm weather in mind when choosing your outfits and shoes.
How do I get from the airport to my hotel?
Cartagena’s airport is conveniently located close to the main hotel areas and the Historic Center. We recommend arranging your transportation in advance, especially if you are arriving late at night. Be sure to ask your hotel to provide information since they usually have a concierge service.
When should I arrive in Cartagena?
We recommend arriving at least one day before the wedding so you have time to settle in, enjoy the city, and get ready for the celebration. If you’re planning to join us for any pre-wedding events, please keep those dates in mind when planning your trip.
Will there be other events besides the wedding?
Yes! We’ll be sharing details about additional celebrations and gatherings on this website as we get closer to the wedding. We’d love to celebrate with you throughout the weekend!
Do I need a visa to travel to Colombia?
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. We recommend checking the official Colombian entry requirements before traveling and making sure your passport is valid for the duration of your trip.
Can I use U.S. dollars in Cartagena?
The local currency is the Colombian peso (COP). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted at hotels, restaurants, and most established businesses, but we recommend having some Colombian pesos on hand for smaller purchases or places that may not accept cards.
Who can I contact if I have any questions about the wedding?
